We are thrilled to announce that Balmoral Estate will now be the major sponsor of the Melton South Cricket Club for season 2024/2025.

Melton South Cricket Club provides an opportunity for anyone within the community to join a local sporting club to participate in structured cricket competition. They offer the younger generation quality coaching, the ability to learn the skills in cricket as well as social interaction with other kids. For those just beginning their cricketing career they also run the Cricket Blast program.

The new pavilion at Melton Recreation Reserve has recently opened, which features

A coaches’ box, shelter for players and a new timekeepers’ box. It also has more social space, a kitchen and other amenities including a meeting room and umpire changerooms. The changerooms have been built to female-friendly standards, which means more women and girls will be able to play community sport as well.

Melton South Cricket Club currently has 4 Senior Teams – 2 Turf teams competing in the Victoria Turf Cricket Association and 2 hard wicket teams competing in the Gisborne District Cricket Association, along with 6 junior teams competing in the Western Region Junior Cricket Association.This partnership is just another way Balmoral is fostering the community we have proudly been part of and developed for over 30 years.
