Construction team have started to prepare the site at the corner of Ferris and Bridge roads in March 2020, already completing site establishment, site clearing and ground levelling.
Scheduled to open in late 2021, multipurpose facility will provide access to a range of sports including basketball, netball, badminton, table tennis, volleyball and futsal, along with school programs and community health and wellness programs.
Demand for sporting facilities in the area is on the rise and the Melton City Council are supporting the young active community to help with their sporting goals.
The new Cobblebank indoor stadium will host some of the below sports & activities:
- six indoor high-ball courts (including show court and seating)
- player, referee and public amenities
- administration and reception
- flexible meeting and social spaces
- kiosk and seating areas
- car parking
